THE ABILITY TO SPEAK TO AN ANIMAL.

If I had the ability to speak to any animal I would choose to speak to felines. I chose felines because they are said to be one of the smartest mammals in the world and because of their uniqueness compared to other animals.

 I first fell in love with felines when I got my first cat  Whiteyie. I noticed that he was very intriguing , very different from dogs it was like he was a human trapped in a cats body because he seemed to study everything cautiosly before exploring what ever he discovered. Felines can be the most affectionate animals yet be so reserved and defesive especially towards the ones they love. Just the thought of ever having the ability to speak with felines would be a Godsend because we can only do so much to communicate with them . Felines are exploreing , discovering , curious  , defensive and loving animals , sharing knowledge would be an advantage from an animals point of view.

2 Things about my school I would change.

The two things I would change about my school would be the block schedule and the tardy sweeps. I would choose to change the tardy sweeps because sometimes students can not avoid being late because they have sibblings that need to be dropped off first. When tardy sweeps are held in school they actually make the student even more late and sometimes the sutdents are only late by a minute even thirty seconds, tardy sweeps does reduce tardies but also decreases the students learning time and wastes the administrators time by filling out tardy slips and that is a lose - lose. I would also choose to change the schools current block schedule because majority of the time teachers end up showing movies or leaving the students to free time the remainder of the class . If we had regular 1 - 6 schedule students wouldn't have time to procrastinate or goof off because they only have a certain amount of time to do their work  and that would better their time management and reduce their goofing off. Students would also turn in work more often because they would only have untill the next day to turn it in as a posed to turning home work in in two days where studentswould forget to do them or be too lazy to do them. With changing those two things I feel the school would improve dramatically and positivly. 

An issue of personal importance

When I lived in Arizona my sister and I got our first African American barbie doll , and I remember she was my favorite barbie ever. I noticed when ever my sisters and I played my sister Ross would not touch or even look at the African American barbie and I asked her why she wouldn't use barbie Claire and she said "I don't like black people". I remember being so furious and I was only nine years old , how could she just decide that she was only six at the time and already hated another race. I was so upset, I went to tell my mom and she was very upset as well , she said " how can hate on people of a different race, children don't usually see race." I just shook my head and walked out of the room. Then two years later we moved to California and Ross's racial issue had gone away for a while. Soon after we moved into the neighborhood the Rainey family moved just up the street from us , I was curious to meet the new family so I walked over to their house and saw them in their garage unpacking and I said  " Hi my name is Nazik ". They were African American and I couln't wait for my family to meet them because they were so nice and I was happy have more girls on the block. I had invited them to my house a week later and I told my mom " These are my new friends mom this is Lene and her sister Lonarias" my mom was happy that I made new friends and insisted that I invite them more often. When they had gone Ross asked me "Why were those ugly black people here? I don't like them." seriously her problem was back? I was so mad at her , how could she be so ignorant , so I sat her down and I excoriated her for about an hour. When I finally finished she was crying and hugged me and apologized to me and I said " Don't apologize to me , Lene and Lonarais heard what you asked me , you have to apologize to them." Ross went over to their house apologized and became their friend, ever since I made her realize how she was hurting people she stopped and now makes friends with every body.

A contribution I would make to college

A positive contribution I would make to a community college would be a large amount of money to support their programs that are in need of funds. I think funding for community colleges is more helpful to the community than funding to a major league college because the students would benefit more from the direct funding providing more opportunities. I plan on starting off at a community college and work my self up through the years to get into a major league  university , but if the community college doesnt have enough funds  to keep their clubs and programs running then I probably wouldn't stand out in my transcript if I don't have any extracurriculars. I feel donating to local community colleges would highly support struggling students and struggling programs.

Future Roommate.

        Dear Roommate,

   My name is Nazik and , I just wanted to let you know how I am as a person before we met. I am a respectful person  who isn't nosy and more than glad to help some one out when they need it , it doesn't matter the situation. I am also very trust worthy and at times my be a little unorganized when I am in a rush other than that , sanitation is not a problem with me. I was born in Dallas, Oregon , I am the second oldest child of five . I have lived in California for seven years , then I lived in Yuma, Arizona and moved back to California when I was twelve years old . I have been to at least nine different schools in my whole life , I am Mexican American and I make friends easily . I am easy to get along with , I don't have a bad temper I love old movies especially Star wars and Rambo movies. I am a nerd and I have OCD with doors , they all have to be closed or I can't fall asleep , I hate morning showers and I love meeting new people and I am a great friend.

My Life is a Movie

Minute one: A mother holds her newborn child as she cries tears of joy , the childs eyes explore its new universe.

Minute two: Child notices mommy is always home with her but not daddy. Wheres daddy? Why does he leave?

Minute three: Finally here's daddy , I can run now daddy lets go to the park , I can talk a lot now too.

Minute four: I am happy we live with Jim , but Scooby attacked him . Bye Bye Scooby and Lasie .

Minute five: I liked California but I like Arizona because we go to the pool and the water park a lot.

Minute six: Yay! news pets, I love cats. Did Kitty and Mitch run away already , did they follow us and get lost?

Minute seven: Ooops! I accidentally dropped baby Lhea from the couch mommy , thank goodness she's okay!

Minute eight: We found sick kitties in a sewer mommy ! Don't take them to the shelter ! Can we keep them?

Minute nine: I don't like grandpa any more , I am still sad we didn't keep the kitties mommy they were sick.

Minute ten :Where's daddy again , why doesn't he sleep any more? The spider hurt his leg bad mommy.

Minute eleven: Where's daddy mom are you guys fighting again ? Did dad lose his job? Where is he?

Minute twelve: I'm happy we're back in California with our new dog Lasie . Good thing she had babies.

Minute thirteen: Two of Lasies' babies died one of them was my Oreo she was just 10 months old.

Minute fourteen: Dads gone again but I don't miss him this time he's hardly here. Mom and dad are getting a divorce.

Minute fifteen: Dad missed my Quinceanera  , he missed a lot but it's okay mom has Anthony now I think we'll be okay.    

The Best Advice I Have Ever Received

I have heard this since I could remember, if I had a penny for every time I had heard this I'd be the richest person in the world. "Stay in school" is the best advice I have ever received  because I have seen loved ones of mine not pull through school and wind up in a deep state of regret and them wishing they would have at least finished high school. My family member says if he would of finished high school and gotten his diploma that he would of been set for his career choice , but he only received his GED. Every time some one tells me stay in school they always hint empathy in their poor choice and try to give me a "heads up" of whats ahead if I dont finish or stay in school.
